Physical Therapy
Think you or your child may be in need of physical therapy? I can help.
My role as a physical therapist is to identify and treat health related conditions or medical impairments that limit the ability to move about your (or your child’s) environment. I will also be your teacher and show you how to perform exercises at home to strengthen your (or your child’s) confidence with movement.
For Infants & Toddlers
Every child develops differently and during these early years of rapid growth, your kiddo may need extra practice with learning a new skill like sitting, crawling or walking. Good news – over the last near-decade, I’ve worked with many young children with neurological and genetic disorders, as well as musculoskeletal injuries like torticollis. I will show you how to set up your home environment and use age appropriate play to encourage motor development within your child.
For Preschool through Adolescence
Does your child have a difficult time keeping up with other same-age peers? Was your child injured while playing a sport? Physical therapy is often recommended to improve strength and mobility so that your child is able to return to everyday activities like walking up the stairs, running around in the backyard and playing sports. I’ll work with you and your child to develop a tailored approach to healing.
For Adults
Do you have an injury or illness that resulted in pain, limited movement and restricted activity? Together we will develop a personalized physical therapy plan, including a detailed home exercise program that will allow you to incorporate movement into your daily routine. We will improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain and improve your quality of life.
