FAQs
What is a physical therapy mini evaluation and how do I know if my child needs one?
If you have concerns about your child’s movement patterns, delay in meeting developmental milestones or something just seems “odd,” follow your parent gut and consult me directly. For a small fee, we can set up a virtual call or in person meeting to discuss your child and the next steps needed. Schedule a consultation.
Do you need a referral from a physician for physical therapy?
No, Texas has direct access for physical therapists; I am able to evaluate and treat for up to 10 business days and then a referral from a physician will be needed to continue.
Do you take insurance for physical therapy treatment?
The physical therapy services I provide are eligible for coverage and reimbursement under many insurance plans; Services are charged at a flat rate and depending on your insurance plan, Simply Strong PT, PLLC may be considered ‘out-of-network.’
Because I do not interact directly nor contract with insurance companies, I am able to provide quality care at a lower cost. For more details, check out my fee schedule.
Following each session, a ‘Superbill’ will be given to each client containing an itemized list of services provided, client demographics and Simply Strong PT, PLLC information. Clients will then be responsible for contacting their insurance provider (and/or HSA provider) and submitting the Superbill in order to have the claim approved and reimbursed.
Where do the physical therapy and personal training sessions take place?
Your choice! Your house, a community park, etc. Additional fee of $20 per session for locations more than 10 miles from my home address (please contact me for specific location).
Do you offer virtual visits?
Yes! I can do virtual visits for physical therapy treatment sessions and for personal training for all age groups.
